Department to roll out anti stock theft dialogue in MoreteleAs part of an initiative to create a safe, secure and crime free environment; the North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management will embark on an intensified series of crime prevention campaigns, engaging communities to fight crime in an integrated approach. The programme, in a form of dialogues, presentations, workshops and other forms of awareness activities will be rolled out in all four districts of the province. Amongst the scheduled activities, the Department will engage with communities and other safety structures in a form of a dialogue with an objective to prevent stock theft which has proven to be a threat to food security particularly in the rural areas.
